The Cedars is very appreciative to have a visit from The Portland Public Library on the first Tuesday of each month. This event is held at The Atrium at The Cedars but is open to all residents to attend. The PPL is here from 12:30pm – 1:30pm and staff and residents are able to check out a book, video or make a request so long as they have a Portland Public Library card. It is no small feat to transform our beautiful atrium into a makeshift library – so make sure to “check it out”!
Portland Public Library (PPL) offers free access to shared materials and information for all community members. Serving as the City’s cultural center since 1867, PPL is one of Maine’s largest public library systems and the most visited cultural institution in the state.
