Overseen by a physician, The Cedars clinicians are known for their skill and dedication to our patients and their families. Patients in the Rehabilitation Center are at the core of the multi-disciplinary team that includes a nurse, nursing assistant, care coordinator for comprehensive discharge planning, dietician, and depending on your needs, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and speech language pathologist.
Our experienced nursing staff provides 24-hour skilled care with expertise in post-surgical care, wound care, IV management, and multiple and complex medical conditions. You will come to know and trust your caregivers from regular interaction with staff and our physician’s medical team of nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants who are all devoted exclusively to the medical care of seniors in rehabilitation.
The Cedars Rehabilitation Center provides teaching affiliations with The University of New England, The University of Southern Maine, St. Joseph’s College, and Southern Maine Community College.
