Fitness and Wellness

Staying fit and healthy is not only good medicine, but easy and fun at The Atrium. Conveniently located under one roof, you will enjoy swimming, water aerobics, small group workouts, strength training classes, tai chi, yoga, walking groups and more. Our Wellness Programs have been of tremendous benefit to our residents. With increased balance, strength and flexibility – our residents are much more likely to avoid falls and stay healthy longer. Our wellness offerings include:

  • Atrium Fitness CenterAquacize in the pool
  • Strength Training
  • Tai Chi
  • Yoga
  • Small fitness groups
  • Walking groups
  • Independent use of the pool, spa and fitness studio

In addition, we offer wellness opportunities such as:

  • “Ask the Nurse”, regularly scheduled visits with our registered nurse
  • Podiatry, audiology, lab services – typically covered by insurance
  • Priority access to our outpatient Rehabilitation Services, as needed

I love the fitness options. I take water aerobics three times a week, yoga classes and aerobics classes. I’m actually going to have to drop Tai Chi because I have so much to do!
