Students will write their own illness narratives and work collaboratively with elder partners to collect life stories for map-making and profile essays. The course will culminate with the publication of a single anthology created by students and residents of The Cedars. Through reading\, map-making\, discussion\, and community partnership\, students will explore how stories influence wellness and the way we care for our aging population. The course is run by \nAmy Amoroso\, MFA\, is an Honors Instructor who specializes in interdisciplinary writing. She aims to provide real audiences for student writing in various forms.
