DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Cedars is pleased to welcome back Portland Conservatory of Music with musicians Sylvia Schwartz(violin) & Timothy Burris (Lute/Theorbo) for an evening concert at The Atrium. \n\nDeeply inspired by the relationship between music\, movement\, and dance\, violinist and teacher Sylvia Schwartz is a passionate chamber musician in both modern and historical performance practices. He has appeared in concert with such esteemed artists as the mezzo Jennifer Lane and the keyboardist Robert Hill\, as well as under the baton of Peter Schreier and René Clemencic\, among others. In a review of The Songs of Philip Rosseter\, Part II\, The Lute Society Magazine said of his skills as an accompanist: “Burris … plays with beautiful tone and is an absolutely first-class.” \n  \nTo RSVP for this event contact June O’Neill\, Senior Living Advisor at: jo’neill@thecedarsportland.org or 207-221-7192 \n
