Spiritual Rejuvenation
Our seniors in skilled nursing care seek spiritual meaning and purpose through prayer, contemplation and appreciating nature’s beauty. Religious Jewish and Christian services are held regularly in our Chapel.

The Cedars often hosts speakers and poetry readings that uplift and engage our seniors. Easy computer access and friendly training keeps our seniors in assisted living in touch with children and grandchildren online. Cocktail hours, movie nights, barbecues, Fall Festival, May Ball and more all gather good friends for good times.

The award-winning Salon and Day Spa at The Cedars is more than a luxury—it is a unique therapeutic experience. We designed a retreat where residents can spend time with friends or family, be showered with undivided attention and boost their self image. “The best feedback is the sheer popularity,” says Angie Hunt, Chief Operating Officer. “We wanted to offer the type of experience that many people could only imagine, make it affordable and bring it right to them.”

Lisa MacLeod, a licensed cosmetologist, manages the daily operations of the program and personally provides most services. All her offerings are therapeutic and holistic, targeting all five senses. We even use “life histories” to engage a resident with cognitive issues in meaningful conversation while they are enjoying their treatments. There are seasonal packages and gift certifi cates available, so treat someone you love. Everybody appreciates a little self-indulgence.
