Heidi Graf, Manager of Rehabilitation Services at The Cedars, knew that she wanted to pursue a healthcare career from a very young age.  Growing up in Switzerland, Heidi worked as a nursing assistant and soon discovered the world of occupational therapy.  After moving to the states and receiving her OT degree at NYU, she worked with the homeless and underprivileged in Harlem and in the psychiatric unit at Mt. Sinai.  Then she transitioned to Maine and delved into the world of geriatrics, which has become her passion.

For the past six years Heidi has been the Rehab Director at The Cedars, overseeing the large staff of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists, who are all directly employed by The Cedars.  Heidi is enthused about advocating for seniors, understanding that they have so much to contribute through their life stories.  When she’s not working, Heidi enjoys spending time with her husband, five children, and their chocolate lab.
