With the summer 2008 opening of The Osher Inn, a complete circle of care for Maine’s seniors is now available under one roof.

An assisted living residence provides reassurance and stability to residents by offering a seamless transitional environment from other levels of service. Our seniors continue to enjoy, without interruption, a
healthy and positive environment as they age—ever surrounded by warm and familiar faces.

The Osher Inn is a contemporary, comfortable assisted living residence for seniors who may require some assistance with activities of daily life. At The Osher Inn, we believe a sense of independence is important. Our residents remain in charge of their own schedules but can rest assured knowing that our cross-trained Wellness Associates are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide personalized assistance when needed.

We offer an expansive array of Primary Services which include: Personal Care, Dining, Life Enrichment and Housekeeping/Maintenance. Residents will have access to a registered nurse to assess and monitor their health needs and access to The Sam L. Cohen Rehabilitation Center and The Skilled Care Center, as needed.

The Resident Wellness Manager, a registered nurse, will develop a Personalized Wellness Plan for each new resident, which will be regularly updated to determine the appropriate Care Option.
